These Terms apply to all businesses, staff, and authorised users of Watchlist.
2. Services Provided
Watchlist provides businesses with a security platform that includes:
- Real-time alerts for persons and vehicles of interest.
- Facial recognition and license plate recognition.
- Trespass and incident registers.
- Evidence packs for police and insurers.
- Analytics, insights, and reporting tools.
3. Business Responsibilities
Businesses using Watchlist must:
- Use the system only for lawful, security-related purposes.
- Notify staff and customers that surveillance technology is in use.
- Ensure only authorised personnel have access to the platform.
- Comply with all applicable privacy and biometric regulations.
- Set and enforce appropriate data retention policies.
Watchlist is not responsible for misuse of the platform.
4. Restrictions
You must not:
- Use Watchlist for discriminatory, unlawful, or unrelated purposes.
- Attempt to bypass security or gain unauthorised access.
- Copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the software.
- Share access credentials with unauthorised users.
5. Data Handling
- Businesses remain the data controllers of information collected.
- Watchlist acts as a data processor.
- All data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6. Fees and Payment
- Pricing is outlined in customer agreements or subscriptions.
- Invoices must be paid according to stated terms.
- Access may be suspended for non-payment.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in Watchlist remains the property of Watchlist (80 Tech Solutions Limited).
Businesses retain ownership of their data.
8. Availability and Support
- We aim for 24/7 system availability but do not guarantee uptime.
- Maintenance or outages may occur.
- Support is available during NZ business hours.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Watchlist is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Businesses are responsible for correct system use.
- We are not liable for misuse, third-party failures, or external events.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- A business breaches these Terms.
- Fees remain unpaid.
- Continued access creates legal or security risks.
Businesses may terminate use by providing notice in accordance with their service agreement.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
